Coming on to stage first in her bridal gown singing “Like A Virgin” was the artist who told our little innocent girls she was a virgin. Yes, Britney! While Britney made her way around the stage, Christina came in to play walking down the stairway that resembled a wedding cake singing along with Britney. As the two sung “Like A Virgin,” our veteran Queen Madonna stepped onto stage and begin to sing her new song “Hollywood.” While singing they all danced romping and rubbing each other while the guys in the audience enjoyed. Out of no where Madonna gave both Britney and Christina a mouth-to-mouth kiss and we’re not talking about a little peck.

Beyonce Knowles received the best choreography in a video, best female video, and best R&B video awards, all for her “Crazy In Love” video featuring Jay-Z.

Missy Elliot “Work It” received two honors, best hip-hop video, and the evening’s most acclaimed title, video of the year.

Aretha Franklin has teamed with hip-hop vocal star Mary J. Blige on a couple of songs for her latest release So Damn Happy, due to hit stores September 16. The album, her first since 1998’s A Rose Is Still A Rose, features 11 new tracks. The Queen Of Soul also pairs up with lyricist Burt Bacharach on several songs.

Lumidee–or, as some refer to her, the “Uh Oooh!” singer–is enjoying the success of her debut album Almost Famous, which features “Never Leave You.” The song is climbing up the charts and currently sits at Number Three on Billboard’s Hot 100. Lumidee told LAUNCH that she’s proud to write her own lyrics.

Jewel has caught the acting bug for real. Since making her first film debut in 1999’s Ride With The Devil, the singer has taken on more responsibility as an entertainer. She will star in, develop, and produce the upcoming independent feature called Wave about a mother who reconnects with her son after spending time in prison. Jewel will portray the role of the son’s girlfriend.

Instead of flying like bird, she’ll be riding to the nearest hospital soon.

The pop sensation NELLY FURTADO is expecting a baby next month (SEP-2003) and will be releasing her new album at the same time. Must be nice!

Guess she thought no one would be missing her or keeping an eye out. Anyways, since now that her big secret has been revealed – that the 24-year-old’s first child with her boyfriend is almost due, all eyes will be on YOU Nelly for the time being.

Although Beyonce’s mother Tina tells her to stop revealing so much, she has no control over what she does, she tells our sources.

Beyonce’ tends to go far to with the clothing, but I must draw the line somewhere. Because of the comments mother Tina says, “She can make up her on mind, Beyonce’s 21 now and so I can’t tell her what to wear anymore.”

It’s seems to me that the rapper is actually unsure if the photo streaming across the net is her or not, but from what we know the resemblance is amazing although the paws aren’t there. Yes, she was a stripper before so it wouldn’t be hard to believe if it was her. Everyone’s pass is not a fairy tale.

Her rep insists: “It’s not a picture of her. (O.k. so you say.) She is upset that there’s a false photo of her going around.” (I would be mad too, but we must move on from our past and keep moving forward and not backwards the way they want us to.)
