Eamon, the 20-year-old recording artist best known for his hit single “F-It (I Don’t Want You Back),” has been confirmed as the opening act for the first ten dates of Britney Spears summer tour starting June 22 in Hartford, Connecticut. When the tour hits Europe starting April 26, Wicked Wisdom, a band fronted by Jada Pinkett Smith, will open all of Britney’s U.K. dates and *NSYNC JC Chasez will go on immediately before Britney.
In related news, as Britney cried out in agony on March 18 when she injured her knee at her Onyx Hotel Tour stop in Moline, Illinois tape was rolling. Now MP3s of her pained exclamations are floating around the Internet on several fan web sites, including everythingbritney.net and worldofbritney.com. During the minute-long audio snippet, Spears can be heard saying, “I just went down…Oh my god…it hurts!”
