The album reached the No. 1 chart position in 22 countries, including the U.K. (7x platinum), Ireland (10x platinum), Singapore (7x platinum) and Australia (5x platinum). In the U.S., LIFE FOR RENT has remained on the Billboard Top 200 album charts for 31 consecutive weeks, with the album on its way to 2 million sold in the States.
