About Dr. Linda Reese (http://www.drlindareese.com)
While growing up in New England, Dr. Linda discovered her passion for piano. At the age of 12, she astonished her music teacher by playing an additional base line with her left foot. At 16, she played the virtuosic piece, Brandenburg Concerto # 5 and then went on to a double major in music and psychology at Bowdoin College. Linda put music on the backburner for number of years while she pursued other life adventures including traveling through Europe, going to medical school, becoming the Senior Medical Officer at NAS Dallas, falling in love and starting a family. However, during medical school, she purchased an old upright piano that she played every night for her children. In 2006, through a series of wonderful and unusual events, Dr. Linda came home to a gift from her husband and children, a 1923 restored 9 ft Concert Grand Steinway that Fred Astaire reportedly performed his famous “Piano Dance” on from the film Let’s Dance. As Linda began to practice again, she was amazed with the depth of sound and magic she was able to create. She loves playing solo, but has recently joined forces with Adam Chester to play 2- piano, 4-hand music together. This year they have created and released three albums that encompass breathtaking renditions of holiday, popular, classic and praise & worship music.
