Singer and Missy Elliot protégé, Lil Mo, 30, born Cynthia Loving gave birth to a baby boy on Friday, January 16th with gospel singer Phillip Bryant according to sources. The baby weighed almost 9 lbs weighing in at 8lbs 15.44 ounces.
According to AOL’s BlackVoices, the singer named her newborn son Justin McKenzie Phillip Bryant.
Lil Mo has two daughters from a previous marriage with Al Stone (Heaven Love’on Stone age 6, God’Iss Love Stone age 3). In 2005 the two filed for divorce and later in March of ‘07 stated they would reconcile, but by August they were divorced.
In other news, Lil Mo is stated to be working a new CD “Tattoos & Roses: The Rebellion Against My Pain” which is expected to be released sometime in ‘09 under Global Music Group in which she has reportedly has a two-album contract with. The singer signed with the label on last year.
