After nearly five years, No Doubt is set to start touring and continue work on their new album that they announced was in progress in 2008.
On Wednesday, the Grammy-winning rock band, No Doubt, announced their 2009 No Doubt Summer tour dates which is set to begin in May in which they will be playing at various outdoor amphitheaters and arenas.
According to lead singer Gwen Stefani the tour is to give them inspiration to make new music, to have fun and try out all of their favorite songs again.
“It feels good to be all together again,” Gwen Stefani states.
As a special guest for the tour the band has selected Paramore who calls going on tour with No Doubt a dream tour.
As for a third act, it will be shared among The Sounds, Janelle Monae and Bedouin Soundclash who all will have the opportunity of opening up the show for No Doubt.
The tour is being produced by Live Nation and will include a number of stops in the United States as well as Canada.
