Actress and singer Lindsay Lohan, 23, would have possibly catapulted her acting career if she would have accepted the role in the comedy and Summer box office movie “The Hangover,” which was about four friends that traveled to Las Vegas for a bachelor party, but woke up not remembering anything and is missing the groom whose wedding is the next day.
Reportedly the starlet turned down the screenplay which starred Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Justin Bartha and Jeffrey Tambor, because she believed it had no potential after reading over it.
Lindsay Lohan is stated to have been approached with the role of stripper Jade by the director of the movie, Todd Phillips, but after much convincing by her agent and Phillips to grab the role which she denied, it was given to actress Heather Graham who took center stage in the movie.
The movie which released June 5, 2009 came in at No. 1 its first weekend and so far has mananged to rank in over $260 million dollars worldwide at the box office. The movie is currently #5 on the box office charts.
