After winning the award for International Breakthrough Act at the Brit Awards 2012 in London, Indie Pop/Adult Alternative singer Lana Del Rey has confirmed that she will be releasing her new single entitled “Blue Jeans” come April 8, 2012.
The announcement of the single comes after Lana Del Rey revealed that she had just finished editing the video for her song Carmen and will be shooting the final video in her trilogy with Yoann on next week.

Erykah Badu was scheduled to perform in Kuala Lumpur, the federal capital in Malaysia, on Wednesday, but Malaysian Government officials and Muslim groups reportedly don’t won’t her performing any longer, after a photo of Badu with a tattoo of “Allah” surfaced in the Malaysian newspaper The Star, BBC News reports.
