(MusiqQueen/VH1) – VH1, Pepsi and the NFL have joined forces once again to bring the worlds of football and music together with VH1′s “PEPSI SUPERBOWL FAN JAM.” Taking place on the beach in the host city of South Beach, FL, this year’s celebration will pay tribute to the All-American sport of football and its 44th Super Bowl, with performances by Rihanna, Justin Bieber and Timbaland with special guest Keri Hilson, among other special guest appearances. Nick Cannon and Nancy O’Dell are tapped to host the night’s festivities, which will not only include spectacular live performances but will feature many of the NFL’s biggest players in both humorous pre-taped interviews as well as live on stage. The soft drink’s slogan may be the “Joy of Pepsi,” but there’s no joy for Britney Spears, whose contract has not been renewed by the cola giant. Pepsi has now signed on Destiny’s Child star Beyonce Knowles for commercials.
Pepsi announced it signed Knowles for her star power in both music and movies. This summer, she made her film debut in Austin Powers In Goldmember and will appear in the upcoming movie The Fighting Temptations.
