Tweet will be featured in the new fall season GAP commercials to begin airing this week. Check out the press release from Elektra Records:
New York, NY – Tweet, the sexy and multi-faceted quintuple threat: singer, songwriter, producer, performer and bourgeoning model; will be one of 50 sizzling personalities to be featured in the new Gap “For Every Generation” global marketing campaign. In the TV spots, which begins August 15, Tweet will appear with rock icon Marianne Faithfull and singer/actress Taryn Manning singing the Staples Singers classic “I’ll Take You There” while showcasing the brand’s GapStretch jeans.
In addition to the television spots, which will run during such prime-time shows as “Will & Grace”, “The Practice” and “West Wing”, Tweet will also be featured in the print, outdoor, direct mail, web, and in-store marketing aspects of the campaign. The first print campaign starts with a striking 48-page freestanding portfolio included in the September issue of Vanity Fair. Additional print ads will be included in more than 40 international publications including the September and October issues of Vogue, W, GQ, In Style, Sports Illustrated, Rolling Stone and Entertainment Weekly.
