Lisa Marie Presley’s To Whom It May Concern Enters Album Charts At #5
(Los Angeles, CA) – To Whom it May Concern, the debut album from Lisa Marie Presley, has entered the Billboard album charts at #5, selling over 140,000 copies in its first week and making it one of the year’s highest debuts and the only such major debut from a female solo new artist.
Said The New York Times of Presley, “Respect is precisely what she wants – and on the strength of the pointedly titled To Whom it May Concern…she’s likely to get it.” Entertainment Weekly called the album “consistently involving” and Newsweek called it “hard-hitting…honest and revealing.”
Television appearances are confirmed for CNN’s “Larry King Live” and NBC-TV’s “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” where she’ll appear as both lead guest and performer on May 1st.
The video for lead single “Lights Out” is now on “X-Large” rotation on VH1, and also in rotation on MTV and CMT. An episode of VH1’s “Driven” dedicated to Presley will debut on June 1st.
Dates for Lisa Marie Presley’s debut U.S. tour, kicking off in June, will be announced shortly.
