Beyonce And R. Kelly Win Most ‘Billboard’ Awards

Beyonce Knowles and R. Kelly were the big winners at the 2003 Billboard Music Awards, held Wednesday (December 10) in Las Vegas, with four wins each. Rapper 50 Cent and country star Shania Twain each picked up three awards, reports billboard.com.

Sting was the recipient of the special Billboard Century award.

Performers at the event included Evanescence, Clay Aiken, Shania Twain, Foo Fighters, Beyonce Knowles, Pink, Sting, R. Kelly, and No Doubt.

The winners were chosen from information compiled from Billboard‘s weekly charts during the period of December 2002 to November 2003.

The event was broadcast on Fox-TV.
