"Dynamite" Singer Launches Private Vocal Coaching Business
Darci Monet is a classically and commercially
trained professional vocalist, independent recording artist and
award-winning songwriter. Her voice was featured in “Napoleon Dynamite”
and she has sung backup for such artists as Steve Winwood, Dolly Parton
and Amy Grant as well as some of the industry’s most successful
songwriters like Beth Nielson-Chapman (Faith Hill’s “This Kiss”) and
John Hiatt (Jewel’s “Have A Little Faith In Me”). Songs she has written
have been featured on major network television shows and she is also
the author of the popular web column “The Working Musician’s Review”,
in which she critiques the performances of the contestants on shows
like American Idol and CBS’ Rockstar series.
Monet now brings together her years of extensive vocal study and
hands-on experience as a working musician and performer to help others
carve out their own paths toward a career in entertainment. THINK
PRIVATE VOCAL-INSTRUCTION-MEETS-ARTIST-DEVELOPMENT and that’s what
Monet’s new venture encompasses. Students will build upon the basics of
vocal technique while learning to sing varying music genres, properly
interpret and portray lyics and refine performance skills all while
getting to take advantage of Monet’s business savvy at the same time.
