Singer Diana Krall Lands At No. 3, Earns Highest Ever Chart Debut With ‘Quiet Nights’
Grammy Award-winning Canadian jazz pianist, singer and Verve recording artist, Diana Krall, landed at #3 on the Billboard 200 with her latest album “Quiet Nights’ which released on March 31, 2009. The album made it to the #3 spot with a reported 104,000 scans making “Quiet Nights” Krall’s second biggest sales week in her career. In addition to this being her biggest sales week, this is also Kralls fourth studio album in the top 10.
Currently the singer is on tour in Canada and will be stopping in the U.S. in June, which will include concert performances at Carnegie Hall in NYC and the Hollywood Bowl in LA, backed by a full orchestra. The singer and pianist will also be making her way through Rhode Island, Tennessee, Massachusetts, Ohio, Virginia, Maryland and others.
