Amy Winehouse’s Father Mitch To Publish Memoir, “Amy, My Daughter”

Mitch Winehouse, the father of the late soul singer Amy Winehouse, will be releasing a memoir titled “Amy, My Daughter” with the help of publishing company Harper Collins.

The memoir “Amy, My Daughter” will reflect upon Amy Winehouse’s career, troubled past with drugs and alcohol, things the public failed to take notice about Winehouse and more.

Amy Winehouse died in July at the age of 27 in her home in London, as reported on MusiqQueen.com.

According to Mitch Winehouse, the book will tell his daughter’s true story all while helping him with his own personal recovery. Proceeds from the sale of “Amy, My Daughter” will go to the “Amy Winehouse Foundation” to help all children in need; such as those who are suffering due from illness, substance addiction and disabilities.

The book is expected to release in the Summer of 2012.
