Aretha Franklin Is Getting Married; Engaged To William ‘Willie’ Wilkerson

Singer Aretha Franklin, 69, and longtime partner William “Willie” Wilkerson are engaged to to be married.

The Grammy award-winning singer revealed to media that she and Wilkerson may perhaps be getting married sometime in the summer around June or July.

The summer wedding is expected to maybe take place in Miami Beach, Fl., followed by a desired reception on a private yacht, the couple wants.

The Queen of Soul says she’s not pregnant, so that’s not the reason of the engagement, which was made over the holidays.

Overcoming a health scare in January, as reported on MusiqQueen.com, Aretha Franklin, who has reportedly been married twice before, lost 85 pounds on the road to better health and is looking forward to a future with her new husband.
