Congratulations To Beyonce, Jay-Z; Gives Birth To New Baby Girl Blue Ivy

Singer Beyonce Knowles and businessman/hip-hop artist Jay-Z have welcomed their newborn baby girl into the world after a number of rumors before the new year, as reported on MusiqQueen.com. On December 30, it was being rumored that the power couple had given birth to a baby which was called Tiana May Carter. Now news has came from Jay-Z’s protege Pop star/singer Rihanna on Sunday, January 8, 2012 via her Twitter micro-blog welcoming Princess Carter to the family. Rihanna ended the tweet with, “Love Aunty Rih!”‘

Reportedly Beyonce and Jay-Z (Shawn Carter) who gave birth Saturday by c-section have named their daughter Blue Ivy Carter, while others are reporting the name as Ivy Blue Carter.

Beyonce’s close friend actress Gwyneth Paltrow was questioned on what the baby was named. “… is it ivy blue, or blue ivy? so confused..It’s Blue Ivy Carter!,” replied Gwyneth Paltrow.

New York Daily News states that a hospital staffer revealed Beyonce checked into the Lenox Hill Hospital on the Upper East Side under the pseudonym Ingrid Jackson where the entire 4th floor was rented out. Beyonce had checked in on Friday before giving birth on Saturday. Security was strictly enforced on the entire floor where they allegedly paid $1.3 million.

In August of 2011, Beyonce, 30, revealed to the world at the MTV Video Music Awards that she was expecting her first child with her husband Jay-Z, 42, whom she married in 2008.
