Of course, not only was the world shocked over the death of superstar and the Queen of Pop, Whitney Houston’s death, so was her 18 year-old teen daughter and aspiring singer, Bobbi Kristina Brown as well as ex-husband R&B singer Bobby Brown, who was on tour for a New Edition Reunion. Reportedly, the death of Whitney Houston was so much for her daughter that she had to be rushed to the hospital for evaluation.
Bobbi Kristina, who has stuck closely by her mother’s side throughout the years following her divorce from Bobby Brown in 2007, had been with Whitney throughout the week in Los Angeles. According to reports, Bobbi Kristina was downstairs in the hotel in the lobby when her mother Whitney Houston was pronounced dead and was in the company of R&B singer Ray J, her mother’s alleged on and off again boyfriend.
The young teen did attempt to see her mother on the 4th floor of The Beverly Hilton hotel, but was reportedly denied access by law enforcement. Whitney Houston’s cousin, singer Dionne Warwick, who had spoken to her hours before her death also was reportedly denied access to her body.
Apparently, a distraught Bobbi Kristina became enraged and unfortunately the shock of the death set-in which resulted in her having to be rushed to Cedars Sinai Medical Center for a breakdown. After evaluation and treatment for anxiety, Bobbi Kristina was released later Saturday night and deemed good enough go home with family.
Whitney Houston, 48, was found in her hotel bathtub on Saturday, February 12, 2012, as reported on MusiqQueen.com, with her head submerged underwater. Although foul play is not suspected, many are speculating that a combination of prescription drugs and alcohol may have played a part.
