Grease Stars, Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta, To Release Christmas Album
Grease co-stars, Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta have reunited to bring forth a Christmas album entitled “This Christmas.” The two stars haven’t been together since their hit 1978 musical film “Grease” that was directed by Randal Kleiser and produced by Robert Stigwood and Allan Carr.
The album “This Christmas” will be benefiting two charities very dear to Newton-John and Travolta.
Proceeds will be equally distributed to the Jett Travolta Foundation that is named after John Travolta’s late son which focuses on combatting disabilities for children as well as disorders and conditions such as autism and condition seizures. Newton-John’s portion will go towards the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre in Melbourne, Australia.
According to Olivia Newton-John, she doesn’t really know how John and herself got the album done with such busy schedules.
The album “This Christmas,” that will feature the likes of Tony Bennett, Barbra Streisand, and Kenny G, is scheduled for release on November 13, 2012.
