
Left Eye Protege Natina Reed Killed, ‘Bring It On’ Star Struck By Car In Atlanta
Rapper/singer and actress Natina Reed, a 32-year-old protégé of the late TLC singer Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes was killed on Friday night after being struck by a car. The young entertainer and artist would have been 33 on Sunday, October 28, 2012.
According to reports, the singer was struck by a car while allegedly standing near or in the roadway north of Lilburn in Atlanta, GA. Currently there have been no other witnesses to come forward other than the driver and the passenger of the car.
The singer is most known for being in the girl group Blaque and the movie “Bring It On” as Jenelope which starred Gabrielle Union, Kirsten Dunst, Eliza Dushku and Jesse Bradford.
According to members (Shamari Fears-DeVoe and Brandi Williams) of the newly reunited group Blaque, they were preparing to work on a new album as well as a reality show.
Natina Reed leaves behind a son Tren Brown, 10, with ex-fiance rapper Kurupt (Ricardo Brown).
