Amber Riley is an actress, singer, and dancer who was born in Los Angeles, California. She rose to prominence in the mid-2000s as a cast member on the hit musical comedy television series “Glee,” where she played the character Mercedes Jones. On “Glee,” Riley showcased her powerful vocal abilities, which led her to a successful career as a singer.
In addition to her work on “Glee,” Riley has also appeared on various other television shows, such as “The Wizard of Oz” live musical event and “Empire.” In 2013, she won the 17th season of “Dancing with the Stars.”
Aside from her acting and singing career, Riley is also known for her philanthropic work and activism, particularly in the areas of body positivity and self-esteem for young women.
