Man Shot During Lil’ Kim’s Radio Show Appearance
A man was shot outside a New York radio station, reportedly during a row between Lil’ Kim and a rival rapper. More than 20 shots – from at least two guns – were fired outside a Manhattan studio where Lil’ Kim had just appeared as a radio show guest.
Lil’ Kim, 26, is thought to have argued with Kiam Holley – half of rap duo Capone-n-Noreaga – at the entrance. Detectives want to speak to both musicians, who fled before police arrived.

Efrain Ocasio, 31, who is believed to be part of Capone’s entourage, is in a serious condition after being shot in the back. Security footage from the building next door showed a woman who appeared to be Lil’ Kim milling about just before the gunfight.
Lil’ Kim was questioned in 1999 over a shooting outside Puff Daddy’s studio. Puff – himself who was on trial on bribery and gun possession charges after a nightclub shooting – produced her debut album, Hardcore.
Lil’ Kim has had a long-running feud with female rapper Foxy Brown, whom she insulted in a song and who responded by calling Lil’ Kim’s album “weak” and “lame” in a cameo on a Capone-N-Norega album.
