Mama Yo Album Out Now : The Game
MamaYo’s 1st album, The Game featured vocalists Shaun Escoffery, Carleen Anderson, Mandy Lecointe and Vanessa Freeman.
The band has developed into a power-funk trio with Yolanda Charles on Bass & Vocals, Scott Firth on Guitar & Vocals and Miles Bould on Drums.
Yolanda is a bass player in the U.K who has played for artists such as Jimmy Somerville, Paul Weller, Marcella Detroit, Gabrielle, Robbie Williams, Jermaine Jackson, Mick Jagger and Dave Stewart.
Miles, the drummer with MamaYo, is well known as a percussionist. He has recorded and toured with John Martyn, Julia Fordham, Daryl Hall, Joe Cocker, Sting, Daniel Beddingfield and Morecheeba amongst others.
Scott’s exciting guitar style makes up the sound of the MamaYo trio. He is better known as a bass player with Little Axe, Steve Winwood, John Martyn, Elvis Costello and Morecheeba.
