Brittany Wells Made Musical Chart History

Spindletop recording artist, Brittany Wells, made musical chart history
this week as she became the first female recording artist on an
independent label, to chart back-to-back singles on the R&R
Indicator Chart in 2005. ("Somebody’s Somebody" and "Too Long")  This
is an amazing accomplishment considering that the songs were worked by
independent promoters, without the help of a label staff.

Wells broke onto the music scene last year with her patriotic
song/video, "From Harm’s Way."   The song caught the attention of the
pentagon cable network resulting in the video being aired worldwide on
the network. Acceptance from those in the military, lead the USS John
F. Kennedy to invite Wells to perform for the ships crew. Wells flew
out to meet the ship at sea, landing on board with a tale-hook landins.
A camera crew from GAC TV’s Country Across America  documented the
trip. Wells spent two days touring the massive carrier, and meeting the
men and woman who work onboard the ship. She performed a concert on
their last night at sea.
