Music Group ‘Labelle’ Announces ‘Back To Now’ Tour; First National Tour In 30 Years
Known from their hit song “Lady Marmalade,” the R&B/Soul group Labelle consisting of powerhouse Patti LaBelle, Sarah Dash and Nona Hendryx recently announced their first national tour since 1977 which will kick off on December 19th at the Apollo Theater in NYC.
The “Back To Now” tour comes after the release of their latest album “Back to Now” through Verve Records which released on October 21, 2008.
Currently the trio is planning to make stops in Chicago, Atlantic City, Detroit, Los Angeles, Oakland, Washington D.C., and Atlanta among other possible cities for their “Back To Now” tour.

In related news, the first single from the Labelle’s album “Back To Now” was “Roll Out” which was produced by Fugee’s member and music producer Wyclef Jean. Other production on the album includes Lenny Kravitz, and Gamble & Huff.
Since the release of the album, it has managed to debut at number 45 on Billboard’s album chart in early November and number 9 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
