Country Star Taylor Swift Reclaims Top Spot On Charts

Country singer Taylor Swift, 19, managed to pull to the the top and reclaim her position after sales recently fell slightly by shipping 249,000 albums. Swift’s album “Fealess,” was previously #1 after selling 592,000 five weeks ago, according to Nielsen SoundScan reports. So far the album has manged to sell more than 1.5 million copies.

On last week, Britney Spears’ album “Circus” dropped down to the #2 spot after selling 200,000 additional copies, which is less than half of what she first shipped. Beyonce’s “I Am … Sasha Fierce” album is hanging in at #3 with approximately 159,000 copies shipped for the week ending December 14th.

Brandy’s album “Human” which is the her first debut through Epic Records is resting at #15 with 73,000 copies shipped.
