Regina Belle Grateful to Fans, Celebrates 1st DOVE Award Nomination
(MusiqQueen.com) Regina Belle thanks all her fans and supporters for their prayers and well wishes during her recovery. Belle has been overwhelmed with the amazing show of support she has received since announcing her unexpected illness over a month ago.

Proving to be a true living testimony to the power of prayer and God’s healing, Belle’s recovery period is progressing extremely well and ahead of schedule, to the point where she is expected to make appearances and performances starting in May. Among the initial appearances Belle has already scheduled include:
June 6th – Capital Music Festival at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia Maryland
June 13th – McDonalds Gospel Festival at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ
June 27th – St. Kitts Music Festival at Warner Park Stadium in St. Kitts (West Indies)
Belle is also celebrating her first ever GMA DOVE AWARD nomination for her smash single, “God Is Good.” The single, off of Belle’s debut Gospel project, LOVE FOREVER SHINES is being recognized in the Traditional Gospel Recorded Song category. “God Is Good” has topped the R&R and Billboard Monitor charts at its debut and continues to be a radio favorite. The Dove Awards are scheduled to take place live in Nashville, TN on April 23, 2009.
