Over the weekend an arrest warrant was issued for Lindsay Lohan, 22, but was cleared thanks to her attorney Shawn Chapman Holley on Monday. The singer/actress was believed to have bailed on her alternative alcohol education program classes stemming from a 2007 DUI charge which brought on the legal action.
On Monday, Shawn Chapman Holley proved to Judge Marsha Revel that Lindsay Lohan had not breached the terms of her probation by showing documentation.
Beverly Hills court issued a $50,000 warrant on Friday for Lohan after she allegedly missed three mandatory alcohol counseling sessions. According to reports, the court had not been informed that Lindsay had left the alcohol program for another due to “personality issues”.
Shawn Chapman Holley states the charges were “born out of a misunderstanding” and that her client continues to be in compliance.
