Alicia Keys Asks Fans To Join “The Elements of Freedom Wall,” Readies New Album
Grammy-award-winning singer and musician, Alicia Keys born Alicia Augello Cook, has launched a call-to-action online campaign to promote her new album “The Element of Freedom” which is set to raise awareness for World AIDS Day on December 1st.
The call-to-action campaign “The Elements of Freedom Wall” at http://elements.aliciakeys.com/ is asking that fans send a post or a tweet to have their photo added to the Freedom Wall which inturn will help spread freedom to others by supporting “Keep A Chid Alive.” Keep A Child Alive is dedicated to providing life-saving anti-retroviral treatment, care and support services to children and families whose lives have been affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa and India.
In addition to the Freedom Wall, participants can also join and pre-order Alicia Keys’ upcoming album “The Element of Freedom” scheduled for release on December 15 through MBK/J Records, as well as purchase her latest singles from iTunes and download custom wallpaper of their “element” which is included on the Freedom Wall.
In related news, “The Element of Freedom” was scheduled to release on December 1, 2009, however due to Alicia Keys wanting to make some addition to the album, it was pushed back to December 15, 2009.
On December 16, 2009, a two-hour special titled 106 & Keys is expected to air on BET’s 106 & Park which will include a countdown of Alicia Keys’ videos and a live performance.
