Singer Amy Winehouse Found Dead, Dies In Apartment; Death Being Investigated
Amy Winehouse, who is most known for her songs “Rehab,” “Stronger Than Me” and signature beehive hair, has died. The 27 year-old singer who became widely known for her 2006 album “Back to Black” which won her five of six Grammy Awards was found in her apartment unresponsive.
According to sources, it is believed that the vocalist may have died due to a drug overdose, however the police has not released information as what was the cause of death.
In the past, the singer had her bouts and battle with drug and alcohol and admitted to have suffered from depression, self-harm and eating disorders.
On May 25, Amy Winehouse is stated to have had checked in Priory Clinic for help for her behavioral problems and drug abuse at the request of her father.
Unfortunately Amy Winehouse checked out after a week of treatment and was being treated then as an outpatient.
