Taylor Swift Celebrates Birthday Turning 22 With CMT’s Artists Of The Year

America’s Sweetheart, Taylor Swift, celebrated her birthday turning 22 (December 13) with CMT. The country music star hit the red carpet during the event and spoke about loving the event because of it being ‘low-key.’

Taylor Swift gushed at the fact that it was an intimate occasion because “you could bring family and friends” and sit at a table. Taylor Swift added that the CMT’s Artists of The Year was unlike other award ceremonies.

Taylor Swift was just one of (5) five stars honored at the awards; others included Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum and Brad Paisley.

CMT Artists of the Year honors the achievements and highlights of five country music superstars in an invitation-only special.
