Housewives of Atlanta Star NeNe Leakes To Hit Glee; Castmember Makes Diss Song?
NeNe Leakes is set to appear on the TV screen in the FOX musical comedy-drama television series Glee.
Most known for being outspoken and not taking any mess on the reality television show The Real Housewives of Atlanta and being a contestant on Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice, this time around, NeNe Leakes will be acting in a scripted environment.
The reality TV star is expected to be playing the role of Roz Washington on the TV series Glee as McKinley High’s synchronized-swim team coach and taking on rival Sue Sylvester (cheerleading coach).
As for NeNe Leakes singing or anything on the show, we have no clue, but it will surely make us more interested in wanting to see it.
In other news, another cast member from The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Sheree Whitfield, allegedly had words for NeNe in the song “Who Gon’ Check Me Boo?” in which she raps and sings.
In the song, Whitfield says, “before you say anything else to me go and fix you grill” which many believed is aimed at NeNe Leakes and has to do with a fight which occurred on Season 4.
Since the release of the song, Sheree Whitfield has been encouraging her fans to download her new single “Who Gon’ Check Me Boo!” as an mp3 or ringtone.
“Hey tweeties! Get “Who Gon’ Check Me Boo!” On your phone as a ringtone or as a mp3 on itunes…,” wrote Sheree Whitfield on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the debut episode of Glee with NeNe Leakes will air on January 17, 2011 and will be called “Yes/No.
