Taylor Swift Freaks Out In Ellen’s Haunted Hallway; Album Red To Go Platinum First Week
Taylor Swift’s album ‘Red’ is positioned to go platinum since it’s release on October 22, 2012 with the first day of sales surpassing 500,000 units. The album is reaching the million mark in it’s first week just like her last album “Speak Now” and may make the 22 year-old singer the first woman in music to have two albums reach the million mark in one week on Nielsen SoundScan since the company began tracking sales data in 1991.
While the singer’s fourth studio album flies off the shelves and is purchased in digital space, Taylor Swift showed her fear of anything haunted on the Ellen Degeneres show. Ellen DeGeneres sent Taylor Swift down the Haunted Hallway.
According to Taylor Swift, she hates anything haunted which includes haunted houses and haunted hallways.
“I don’t want to go in it. Do you guys hear the music you’re playing?,” stated a nerve-wrecked Taylor Swift.
Ninety-seconds had passed and the singer still hadn’t made her way into the hallway. Taylor Swift finally went in the Ellen’s Haunted Hallway when the music was changed.
“Ok, the music is getting better. The music is less scary,” added Taylor Swift.
Once Taylor Swift was inside the haunted hallway, she can be heard repeatedly saying, “I don’t wanna, I don’t wanna, I don’t wanna. Stop doing that. This is horrible…. Stop it, stop it, stop it, stop it…”
After Taylor Swift finished her haunted hallway tour, a smiling Ellen DeGeneres was waiting for the singer. Taylor Swift innocently hugged Ellen and walked off saying, “I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it.”
In a follow-up with Ellen after the Haunted Hallway, Taylor Swift got some cool ear wigs and some Ellen socks. Nothing’s more cooler than some Ellen socks. Don’t you agree?
Although the Big Machine Record’s Pop/Country star seems to be scared of haunted things, it’s not keeping her from making her rounds in support on the new album “Red” during the month of Halloween celebrations. The singer has been promoting her new album on various talk shows including Good Morning America,” “The View,” “Late Show with David Letterman” and others.
