Britney #1 Searched Term of The Year, Miley Cyrus and Lindsay Lohan Makes The List
Yahoo! released their list for “The Most Searched Terms” on the Internet for 2008 and Britney Spears who just released her album “Circus” made the list as number 1 spot, yet again. This year Paris Hilton failed to make the list.
Yahoo! announced the most popular searches, themes, and trends as part of its year end review as estimated by billions of searches from millions of Yahoo! users from around the globe.
Recently the pop singer re-launched her website and started blogging. In addition, Britney Spears album “Circus” was just certified PLATINUM in Australia with over 80,000 units shipped. Circus is currently No. 5 in the album charts with the self-titled single ‘Circus’ sitting at No. 7. Her single ‘Womanizer’ is No. 9 on the singles chart.
The singer managed to sell over 500,000 copies the first week of it’s release in the US.
