Mariah Carey Responds To Whitney Houston’s Death; Singer Heartbroken
Singer Mariah Carey, who has been compared to lengendary singer Whitney Houston for her amazing vocals and success, has responded about the death of the music icon who died on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012.
Mariah Carey, who performed and recorded the award winning song “When You Believe” with Whitney Houston for her 1998 album #1’s (Number 1’s) that was also featured on The Prince of Egypt soundtrack, stated that she was heartbroken and in tears over her dear friend.
“Heartbroken and in tears over the shocking death of my friend, the incomparable Ms. Whitney Houston. My heartfelt condolences to Whitney’s family and to all her millions of fans throughout the world.”
Mariah Carey went on to say that Whitney Houston will not be forgotten and is one of the greatest voices to ever grace the earth.
Whitney Houston was found dead in her hotel room at the Beverly Hilton on the fourth floor where she was pronounced dead, as reported on MusiqQueen.com.
Currently, the exact cause of death is unknown and is pending investigation.
