Whitney Houston, age 48, was reported to be found on today at the Beverly Hilton hotel. Upon arriving at the scene, paramedics reportedly tried to revive Houston but were unsuccessful. Houston was pronounced dead at 3:55 PM.

The singer was in Los Angeles for a music tribute to her mentor Clive Davis in which she had performed earlier in the week.

Known for her amazing voice Whitney Houston’s career started at the ripe age of 11 and from then on her career catapulted. Whitney Houston has been awarded more awards than any female music artist in history based on the Guinness World Records.
